Which Classic Writer are you?

Poe

Edgar Allan Poe. January 19, 1809 - October 7, 1849
"Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night."

Your poetry is dark, yet still beautiful in its own right. Your rhyme and rhythm are enchanting and powerful. But that dark side to you may sometimes drive people away. And yet, that's what makes you a fantastic poet. Perhaps, if you save all your angst for your writing and give people a smile now and then, things would balance out.

(So, does this mean I'm going to be extremely well known, but die in a Gutter?)

  1. Well of course I think it suits me perfectly lol lol.

William Shakespeare. April 1564 - April 23 1616 "And since you know you cannot see yourself, so well as by reflection, I, your glass, will modestly discover to yourself, that of yourself which you yet know not of." You are probably a passionate lover and often tagged as a hopeless romantic... Though, chances are, you're a not-so-hopeless romantic. You're good with your comedy, but even better with your drama. You're far ahead of your time... and yet, still perfect for it. You're extremely good at what you go and you've yet to be matched. Keep up the good work.

  2. I know this is an old post but it's new to me...

    Oscar Wilde.
    October 16, 1854 - November 30, 1900
"I know that when plays last too long, spectators tire. My tragedy has lasted far toolong; its climax is over; its end is mean; and I am quite conscious of the fact that when the end does come I shall return as an unwelcome visitant to a world that does not want me."
From a letter written from Reading Prison
You wit is unmatched by many and your talent goes far beyond your days. You are good at what you do, though you tend to over-analyse and can be a bit longwinded. People love you for your quick wit and often miss you when you are not there to keep them entertained. You are enjoyed my many and disliked by few and those that do are probably just jealous. Never stop doing what you do. Never change.
